Welcome to Pannolino Bambino

I’m Helena! I’m a mom to 3 boys; Ronin 6, Koa 3, and Tribe who will be a year old summer 2023, and a Pannolino Bambino team member. We love adventuring in the outdoors as a family. We’ve converted a econoline van into the most amazing camper van for all our family explorations! You can find us soaking in some gorgeous PNW hot springs, snowboarding on Mt Hood, or camping & fishing off the grid. When home we love hiking and playing on our little urban homestead with our chickens while my oldest spends his day at an amazing local Forest School. I originally started cloth diapers with my oldest because so many people told me I wouldn’t do it and tried to talk me out of it. They said that it was a waste of time, that the cost of washing was the same as buying disposables, and would they be impossible to take on adventures with a baby. I’ve taken cloth EVERYWHERE! We’ve hand washed cloth while backpacking on the top of a mountain and staying in a remote off grid cabin in Hawaii. We’ve taken cloth on numerous camping trips, in the snow and rain. If you put your mind to it, you can take cloth anywhere!

The best part of cloth diapering has been the community found through it. Seeing anyone who cloths in the “wild,” instantly friends. Need to vent or struggling with parenthood or life in general- the Facebook groups are always there offer advice or just listen. I have found my closest friends through the cloth diapering community. The most challenging part of cloth has been having 3 kids, 2 in cloth. With all the other household laundry it’s been a bit overwhelming to get all the diapers washed, dried, and stuffed. It’s also much harder to hand wash in the backcountry with 2 kids.

My favorite Cloth product is the EZ AIO, with 3 kids always on the move I love the convenience of grab and go!  My favorite "Beyond" product is probably the wetbags and pods. We use them to stay organized on all our adventures.
